Fastest LPDDR5X DRAM in the Industry
Samsung is touting this as the industry’s fastest DRAM, and to support their claim, they have tested this DRAM for Snapdragon platforms. The speed for this DRAM with Snapdragon mobile platforms was around 8.5 gigabits per second(Gbps), which is next-level fast when considering other DRAMs available in the market.
Just a few months ago, in March, Samsung attained a speed of 7.5Gbps with its DRAM. And now, with the latest test, they have surpassed this speed and are now the leaders in the memory sector.
Samsung is already a pretty big name in the DRAM market. They have been making RAMs for high-end smartphones for a while now. Even other smartphone brands use LPDDR DRAM from Samsung for their smartphones. Thus, Samsung plays a significant role in the performance of many high-end smartphones.
