NAB which is one of the biggest showcase events in the world for broadcasters is all set to take place in Las Vegas starting on 23 April 2022.
Three of the biggest names in audio and music: Sennheiser, Neumann, and Dear Reality have decided to join forces to showcase the most advanced tools including new products for broadcasters and webcasters.
People who are planning to visit NAB 2022 can see all of this live at booth No. C6715. Sennheiser is going to make a booth that will give users the best audio experience with Dolby Atmos and combine it with products from both Newmann and Dear Reality.
Dear Reality will be providing visitors with dearVR SPATIAL CONNECT, dearVR MONITOR, dearVR PRO, and a pair of studio headphones. Using all of these tools, visitors will be able to mix and monitor Atmos “on the go”.
The audio zone will also feature a 5.1.4 AES67-based Neumann monitoring system. This system will provide users with a benchmark reproduction of the results and they will be able to hear the mix.
Not only that but there will also be more presentations in regular intervals that will show how broadcast technicians can work remotely with software from Dear Reality and monitors from Neumann.
The Sennheiser Showcase at NAB
Because the entire NAB event is focused on broadcasters, Sennheiser will be launching its own audio equipment that will help them get the best sound for the audience.
There will be two premium shotgun microphones: the MKH 8060 and MKH 416. Then there will be the EK 6042 camera receiver. This receiver works perfectly with all the digital and analog wireless mics from Sennheiser.

There will also be the Digital Digital 6000 wireless microphone series and the 2000 IEM series from Sennheiser.
Sennheiser will also be focusing on ENG professionals and digital creators by showcasing the wireless G4 camera system and the AVX which is its counterpart. By doing so, the brand will be launching both digital and analog solutions for creators.
With the rising popularity of mobile content creation, Sennheiser will also be showcasing the MKE 200, MKE 400, MKE 600, XSW-D Portable Lav Mobile Kit, and XS Lav Mobile Kit.

Finally, there will be a full MKG studio microphone series from Sennheiser. There will be monitoring headphones, broadcast headsets, and the Evolution Wireless Digital microphone system as well.
Studio Monitors from Neumann
Visitors will also get the chance to see the new studio monitors with the optional AES 67 interface from Neumann at the same booth.
Neumann will be launching a new Miniature Clip Microphone System at NAB as well. This microphone system is built for close-miking instruments. It has nine mounting solutions that make it easy to mount anywhere. It is highly modular and tough making it an ideal choice for live music broadcasts.

We can’t talk about Neumann without talking about their studio mics so of course there will be the new mics including the TLM 102 and TLM 103, plus the BCM 705 for radio hosts.
Visitors will also be seeing the KU 100 binaural head and the KMR 81 and KMR 82 shotgun mics and the new Neumann NDH 20 studio headphones with their new sister model.
Futuristic Dear Reality Software
Dear Reality is a big name in audio software and it will also be participating in the same booth. The brand will showcase its new plug-ins and application software aimed at professional studios. The new software will mostly showcase how easy it is to use for remote productions.
The key highlight is the new dearVR PRO spatializer plugin. It has some advanced features that can mix 26 multi-channel output formats, from stereo to 7.1.2, 7.1.4, and 9.1.6.
Then there is the dearVR SPATIAL CONNECT controller application. It can seamlessly connect a VR headset to selected DAWs providing a 360° mixing environment.
Finally, there will be the flagship headphone mixing tool, the dearVR MONITOR has 26 multi-channel speaker formats.
