Samsung has finally announced the 1st stylish smartphone with 5G connectivity, the latest Galaxy XCover 6 Pro. Most aspects you would expect in a smartphone in 2022 are featured.
Despite being primarily designed for business customers, regular consumers will find a lot to love here. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is much more stylish than most tough phones. But durability isn’t compromised. Its design is MIL/STD-810H approved and features an IP68 rating.
Galaxy XCover6 Pro combines unmatched durability with seamless connectivity to empower businesses of all sizes and shapes.
Combining Power with Productivity
The Galaxy XCover6 Pro is an innovation in ruggedized performance. It is driven by an improved 6nm processor to give supercharged speeds that reduce the workday length and enable workers to complete more.
The main display of the XCover6 Pro is a 6.6-inch PLS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. You can also operate the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro while wearing gloves or damp hands. Plus, it has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection found in the Galaxy S22 series and comes with improved touch sensitivity.
There are no compromises with your job because the XCover6 Pro offers expanded storage and an optional microSD card. Additionally, it is the first XCover series device to enable 5G networking, enabling users to work from any location with a signal.
The XCover6 Pro makes teamwork with co-workers easier and more effective than ever with Wi-Fi 6E’s capability for the 6GHz band. The Galaxy XCover6 Pro offers Samsung DeX for employees who alternate between working in-person and remotely.
By connecting their device to an external display, keyboard, and mouse, users can simulate a PC-like experience. The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has two cameras on the back: a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Additionally, there is a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The Snapdragon 778G CPU powers the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro from the inside out. Workers can use their XCover6 Pro to take pictures, make notes while out and about, and then utilize that data to create reports once they return to their desks.
Tailored for Modern Needs
The smartphone has a 4,050 mAh battery buried beneath a plastic back that can be removed for easy battery replacements. The mobile can be charged around 15W with the included wire & features custom spare parts that bridges using the 2 pogo points on the low-end.
Add-ons include a USB-C cable but not the charger. Through Knox Capture, users can also use the device as an enterprise-grade barcode scanner, and its push-to-talk feature, which now has a louder-than-ever speaker level, can be used as a walkie-talkie.
Samsung’s One UI adds a layer of security by enabling users and IT administrators to easily manage their devices through an intuitive interface that includes clear sharing and protection choices. Administrators may remotely control device integrity to ensure that devices are secure and unaltered.
The biometric fingerprint and facial recognition capability ensure that only the intended user can access the device. Lastly, the XCover6 Pro comes with a wide range of Samsung and partner accessories, including a Smart Case, POGO/multi-device/battery pack chargers, belt clips, and PTT headsets.
The smartphone runs Android 12, with five years of security updates. The system will be available on the market in July 2022. However, Samsung hasn’t revealed the price yet!
