Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Series All Set to Get a New Update to Boost Overall Performance

The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series offers two of the best smartwatches in the Android ecosystem. Recently, Samsung has declared a new update for both, the Galaxy Watch4 and the Galaxy Watch4 Classic.

This update is all set to roll out starting February 10th after the Unpacked event. The new update will bring a lot of new cool and enhanced performance and customization features to the Galaxy Watch4 series.

Samsung aims to empower its users to set and achieve all of their health and wellness goals while expressing their personal style at the same time.

With the new update, cyclists and runners will have an advanced interval training feature that can help them track their sessions in the most efficient ways. Then there are other performance upgrades like a new sleep coaching program and new body composition insights.

Not only that, users will now get more customization options with their Galaxy Watch4 as the new update will bring exciting new watch faces. Along with that, Samsung will be launching some stylish watch straps as well.

More Motivation to Be Healthy

The new update for the Galaxy Watch4 series is going to bring body composition insights for the users and this can help them get more insight related to their health journey.

Samsung Health is going to provide the insights powered by Centr which is a digital fitness program by Chris Hemsworth. Users will be getting a 30-day trial that will provide them complete access to Centr.

Then there is the new interval target feature aimed at runners and cyclists which allows them to pre-set the duration, distance, and number of sets for their routine. This feature gives them a combination of high-intensity workouts mixed with low-intensity workouts. As a result, users get the best and most effective workout every time.

Better Sleeping Habits

With the great sleep tracking ability of the Galaxy Watch4, the new sleep coaching program is far better to help users in developing healthy sleeping habits.

The feature also assigns users with adorable sleep symbol animals that represent the user’s sleep type. It does that by tracking sleep patterns for seven days and then conducting two sleep surveys related to the data.

To help users with their sleeping habits, the feature also comes with a four to five week program that combines missions, checklists, articles, meditation, and reports to help users enhance their sleep cycle.

For users who have Samsung SmartThings enabled lights, the watch will detect when a user falls asleep and then turn off the SmartThings enabled lights automatically to set up better sleeping conditions.

Better Data for a Healthier Heart

The Galaxy Watch4 combines BioActive Sensor technology and the Samsung Health Monitor app to allow users to measure their blood pressure (BP) and electrocardiogram (ECG) at any time and any place.

Samsung is planning to expand its Samsung Health Monitor app to 11 more markets in March. These markets include Canada, Vietnam, and South Africa.
