Nintendo Announces Exciting New Games Coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022 including Nintendo Switch Sports, Xenoblade Chronicles 3

All the users having a Nintendo Switch can get excited as Nintendo has announced some great new games for Nintendo Switch in 2022. The Japanese video game giant announced a lot of new games for Nintendo Switch in their first-ever 40-minute live stream called Nintendo Direct in 2022.

Some of the fans who were curiously waiting for any news regarding The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Metroid Prime 4 would be a little disappointed as there were no announcements related to these games.

However, Nintendo still announced a lot of fun new titles and some exciting remakes. Let’s look at some of the major titles and highlights from the event:

Nintendo Switch Sports

One of the key highlights of the announcement is Nintendo Switch Sports, a new iteration of the all-time classic Wii Sports games. With Nintendo Switch Sports, you can play games like bowling, volleyball, soccer, badminton, tennis, and chambara with your friends and family either in person or online.

Although the title is coming out on April 29, you can enroll for beta testing which will start later this month. To get the best gaming experience users will be able to use their Joy-Cons to make moves in real which will reflect in the game.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Then there is the announcement which is the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 from MONOLITHSOFT. The title is will be coming out later this fall. This is a sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and it is one of the most popular open-world role-playing games for Nintendo Switch.

Mario Strikers: Battle League

This was a much-anticipated game and Nintendo finally announced it this time. The game will bring next-level excitement to the 5v5 football game titles.

Users will be able to pick the most iconic characters from the Mario series and then use their special skills to keep the game exciting. With this new title, there can be up to 8 players(4 on each time) that can take part in a match and play opposite to each other on one Switch system.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Many fans were highly disappointed after hearing this announcement as Nintendo just announced that there will be paid DLCs for an already existing version of the game till 2023.

There are going to be 48 new remastered tracks that will be coming in installments starting from March 18 till the end of 2023.

By the looks of it, there might be no Mario Kart 9 till 2024 so users can only pay USD 25 and take the DLC in the meantime.

Then there were compilations from some upcoming games including LEGO Brawls, Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles, Two Point Campus, and Zombie Army 4.
