So far, it has been a productive month for MSI as they are constantly pumping out new laptops. Again, MSI has announced the new Summit, Prestige, and Modern Series of laptops. These laptops come with the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors and a whole set of advanced features for business and productivity users.
On top of that, some of the laptops from the Summit and Prestige series also have the Intel Evo certification which makes them an ideal choice for long use.
MSI Summit Series
The new Summit Series from MSI packs 5 new laptops: Summit E14 Flip Evo, Summit E14 Evo, Summit E13 Flip Evo, Summit E16 Flip Evo, and Summit E16 Flip.
Basic Specifications for Summit Series
The very first laptops in the Summit series are the E14 Flip Evo and Summit E14. Both the laptops come with the same internals and hardware components. They only differ in terms of the display. On one hand, the Summit E14 Flip Evo features a 14″ QHD+ touch display, the Summit E14 comes with a 14″ FHD+ display.
Other than that, both laptops can have up to 12th Gen. Intel Core i7 processors with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. They also have 16GB dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM and an NVMe M.2 SSD by PCIe Gen4 x4.
If we talk about the ports then both of the laptops have two Thunderbolt USB Type-C ports with PD, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A port, an HDMI port, a microSD card reader, an Audio Combo Jack, and a Webcam Lock Switch.
Along with that, there is also a Summit E13 Flip Evo which also has pretty much the same specs and a 13.4-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Furthermore, the Summit E16 Flip and E16 Flip Evo mostly have same specs as well. The Summit E16 only has a bit different configuration with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU 4GB GDDR6 or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU 4GB GDDR6 graphics and 32GB dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM.
MSI Prestige Series
The next series of laptops from MSI is the Prestige series and this series is their design-focused laptop series. The Prestige Series includes the Prestige 15, Prestige 14, and Prestige 14 Evo laptops.
The new Prestige 14 and 14 Evo comes in stunning Carbon Grey and Bluestone color options. On the other hand, the Prestige 15 comes in classy Urban Silver and Carbon Grey colors.
Basic Specifications for Prestige Series
Let’s talk about the Prestige 14 Evo first. It comes with up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 Processors combined with Intel Iris Xe graphics. It features a 14-inch FHD display and in terms of RAM and memory, you get 16GB dual-channel LPDDR5 RAM and a PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD.
If we talk about ports then you get two Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports with PD, a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port, microSD reader, and an Audio Combo Jack. In terms of connectivity, this one comes with Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E and the latest Bluetooth v5.2.
The other laptops in the Prestige series are Prestige 14 and Prestige 15. The Prestige 15 comes with two options for display: a 15.6-inch UHD display or a 15.6-inch FHD display. It also gives users the choice to select between Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti 4GB GDDR6/RTX 3050 4GB GDDR6/ GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6 Laptop GPU.
The Prestige 15 laptop comes with 32GB LPDDR4x dual-channel RAM and two SSD slots(1 PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD and 1 PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD).
On the other hand, the Prestige 14 comes with a 14-inch FHD display. It gives users the option to choose between NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU 4GB GDDR6 and GTX 1650 Laptop GPU 4GB GDDR6.
The Prestige 14 comes with 16GB LPDDR4x dual-channel RAM and a PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD. Other than that, both Prestige 14 and 15 have pretty much the same specs and same I/O ports.
MSI Modern Series
Finally, we have the MSI Modern series for which the company has collaborated with French illustrator, Lorraine Sorlet. It has a modern design and great specifications to support high-performance work.
There are two laptops in the Modern series: The Modern 15 and Modern 14. They mostly have the same specifications except for the screen size. Both laptops can have up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 Processors and Intel Iris Xe graphics. They also have 16GB of RAM and a PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD. The only difference is that the Modern 15 has a 15.5-inch FHD display and the Modern 14 has a 14-inch FHD display.
With all of these series, MSI has launched laptop options for every user this year. It will be great to see what MSI brings more in the near future.
