Xiaomi debuts new smartphone additions & Redmi series gets a 5G upgrade

Xiaomi knows how to play the game, whether users demand a bigger screen, a more powerful processor, a larger battery, improved cameras, or just more RAM and storage. Xiaomi hit the market with four Redmi Note 11 series devices worldwide shortly after launching the Redmi Note 11 series in China.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, along with the Redmi 10 5G and Note 11S 5G smartphones, was unveiled by the brand as it announced that its annual Fan Festival is set to take place on April 6 this year.

In addition, Xiaomi has announced a special festival edition of the Redmi Note 11 that will be announced just in time. The gadget will feature a Star Blue colorway, with a distinctive marking next to the Redmi logo on the rear.

Each smartphone, which will go on sale on April 6, aspires to deliver flagship-quality features at rates much below USD 500. All models arrive with a fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, and a 3.5mm audio port.

Xiaomi is taking the Redmi Note Series pushes forward with the debut of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, which surpasses various needs. In addition, the 4500 mAh battery in the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G supports 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge.

Arriving in Graphite Gray, Star Blue, and Forest Green color choices, it features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz overall refresh rate. A 108MP front camera, an 8MP expanded camera, and a 2MP in-depth camera make up the phone’s 3 camera configuration.

Owing to its energy-efficient 6nm process, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G arrives powered by an octa-core MediaTek 920 processor, elevating mobile performance. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Xiaomi’s show-stopper, is offered in three configurations: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. The suggested retail prices are USD 369, USD 399, and USD 449, respectively.

Redmi Note 11S 5G

It is a 5G-enabled variant of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 11S, released in January. The Redmi Note 11S 5G features a MediaTek 810 SoC with dual 5G SIM support and runs on MIUI 13.

A 50MP triple-camera combination with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP in-depth sensor is further included in the package. In addition, a 16MP front camera is also featured for selfies. The phone has a battery power of 5000 mAh that charges in 33 minutes. It also features twin speakers and a headphone port of 3.5mm and runs on Android 11.

The Redmi Note 11S 5G is also available in 3 different configurations: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB & 6GB+128GB, with suggested prices of USD 249, USD 279 & USD 299, respectively. It features three color choices – Midnight Black, Twilight Blue, Star Blue.

The Redmi 10 5G comes at a modest price out of the three new 5G models. It is available in three configurations: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, priced at USD 199 and USD 299, respectively, featuring Graphite Gray, Chrome Silver, and Aurora Green hues.

It’s the first Redmi phone to offer 5G, and it’s equipped with a MediaTek 700 octa-core processor with dual 5G SIM compatibility. A 6.58-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080) display with a 90Hz refresh rate is also rumored, alongside a 5000mAh battery.
