MWC 2022 is taking place in Barcelona right now and it is one of those events where we see a lot of new gadgets and technology related to mobile consumer electronics.
At MWC 2022, Lenovo has unveiled some new gadgets including New ThinkPad, ThinkBook, ThinkVision, IdeaPad, tablet, and Motorola devices and solutions.
As per Lenovo, these new gadgets are going to bring the world closer as we advance to a new hybrid world.
There are a lot of announcements made by Lenovo at the MWC 2022, let’s look at them one by one.
New ThinkPad X13s Gets Snapdragon, Platform, Multi-Day Battery Life, AI Support, and 5G Connectivity
The very first gadget joining the Lenovo family is the all-new ThinkPad X13s. Lenovo has collaborated with Qualcomm and Microsoft and as a result, this laptop will have Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 compute platform1 and will be able to run up to Windows 11 Pro.
With this laptop, users can get up to 28 hours of battery life. Not only that, but it also has AI capabilities to enhance the user experience. The laptop has 5G capabilities and it also has mmWave for faster speeds. For apps, the laptop will have the Microsoft App Assure program. This ultra-slim and thin laptop is great for using every day when you are constantly moving.
New ThinkPad Laptops and ThinkVision Mobile Monitor for Next Level Productivity
The newest addition to the ThinkPad lineup is the new ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5. This device is just loaded with top-notch specs that enable users to do even to most demanding tasks seamlessly. Here are all the specifications of the new ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 5:

The ThinkPad T series is also getting some new updates for making them more friendly for employees and increase the productivity and collaboration features.
There is a new ThinkPad T16 which will have a 16:10 aspect ratio display with low blue light technology. It will also have an FHD camera with Dolby Audio speakers and Dolby Voice. For connectivity, users will get WiFi 6E and WWAN choices. All of these features will also be available for the updated ThinkPad T14s Gen 3 and T14 Gen 3.
Lenovo has announced a new ThinkVisison M14d mobile USB-C monitor. It is quite lightweight at just about 1.3 pounds. The 14-inch monitor features a 16:10 aspect ratio display with 2240 X 1400 resolution. It also supports a 100% sRGB wide color gamut so users can experience the true colors.
Then there is a new ThinkPad P16s along with an updated ThinkPad P14s Gen 3. It comes with the new Intel Core processors and NVIDIA T550 professional graphics. These workstations are ISV-certified. So users can run some demanding applications like AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc on them.
New ThinkBook Laptops
Lenovo has also unveiled two new laptops in the ThinkBook series. These new ones rethink book 14s Yoga Gen 2 and ThinkBook 13s Gen 4 i. While there is not much of an update on the internals, these laptops did get dual-tone color options, and narrow bezels to make them look more appealing.
New Motorola Edge 30 Pro or Motorola Edge+(in North America)
The newest device in the Motorola series is the Motorola Edge edge 30 pro or Motorola edge+ in North America.
This smartphone comes with the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. So users get the best 5G capabilities, gaming performance, and image processing. It also comes with HDR 10+ for superior video quality. It has a triple camera system at the back with two 50-megapixel cameras and a 60-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone features a 6.7″ Max Vision OLED display with a screen refresh rate of 144Hz.
On the battery side of things, it has a 4800mAh battery and comes with 68W TurboPower fast charging. It can give you a 50% charge in just 15 minutes. The smartphone also supports 15W TurboPower wireless charging.
New IdeaPad Gaming Laptops and Legion Wireless Mouse
There are two new gaming laptop series unveiled at MWC 2022 by Lenovo, the new IdeaPad Gaming 3i and IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop series. These laptops will be available in 15 and 16-inch models. They have new thermal upgrades and design refresh for a better gaming experience.
Along with that, Lenovo has also launched a new Legion M600s Qi Wireless Gaming Mouse for students.
Lenovo Announces 2-in-1 Convertible Laptops, Chromebooks, and a Tablet
Lenovo is also pushing its two-in-one convertible laptop lineup. It has launched a new Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 5i detachable laptop. The laptop runs on Windows 11 so users can use it for both work and entertainment.
Then there are some new two-in-one IdeaPad Chromebooks as well. The new Chromebooks from Lenovo are IdeaPad Flex 5i Chromebook, the 2-in-1 IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook, and the IdeaPad Duet 3 Chromebook.
Finally, we also have the upgraded Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd Gen) Android tablet. It comes with Lenovo Precision Pen 2 support.
Founding Principles of the Kind City
Lenovo has also highlighted its Kind City initiative where it asked people to give their input in making a Kind City of the future. After compiling the inputs, Lenovo has come up with 10 founding principles for creating a green, accessible, inclusive, and empowering city.
