Acer has unveiled its special laptop edition and Chromebooks trio before CES 2022. The latest line-up will include a trio of Chromebooks, including Acer Chromebook Spin – 513, 315 & 314.
One more addition to laptops is Acer Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition. The special edition, Aspire Vero National Geographical Edition, portrays the brand’s commitment to contribute to a more sustainable future.
The Chromebooks, on the other hand, are designed to present a secure, user-friendly, and affordable device equally enabled to elevate work productivity and entertainment as well. The Chromebooks are furnished with everything users require and equipped with enterprise-grade audio and video technology.
Acer Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition
The special Aspire Vero Edition is equipped with an Intel 11th Generation processor. However, the detailed device specifications have not yet been revealed, but Acer claims that the laptop will be engineered for easy repair-ability and offer Iris Xe graphics.
The Vero laptop additionally uses 30% PCR plastic throughout the chassis, which Acer also claims to save 21 percent in carbon emissions during their product manufacturing.
The screen and keycaps of the laptop are PCR plastic, 30%, and 50%, respectively. It also will feature Windows 11 and come with many ports, even one for charging mobiles while the laptop is powered off. Acer promises to reveal the details at CES 2022.
Acer’s Vero line-up is part of the Earthion platform that focuses on abating climate and environmental problems with innovations. The primary focus is Acer’s RE100’s ability to reach 100% renewable energy usage, greener design, and minimizing carbon footprint, all by 2035.
The new Aspire Vero edition will be available in France at EUR 899, China at RMB 5499 from January, and across multiple Asia Pacific countries.
Acer Chromebook Spin 513
This Chromebook comes with a MediaTek Kompanio 1380 processor, further paired with 8GB RAM and eMMC 128GB storage. The Chromebook further features a 13.5-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio.
Also, the Chromebook can be used in multiple orientations, built with aluminum featuring MIL-STD 810H certification. Moreover, a backlit keyboard and a pair of speakers offer DTS audio.
Acer further claims that the Chromebook Spin 315 has 10 hours battery life. This Chromebook will be available from June 2022 at USD 599.99 in North America and EUR 649 in EMEA.
Acer Chromebook 315
The Chromebook is likely equipped with Intel’s dual-core, quad-core, or Pentium processors. The processor can be paired with the same storage capabilities as the Chromebook Spin 513.
The Chromebook comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD anti-glare display and an optional touchscreen. The Chromebook has an OceanGlass touchpad and a numeric keyboard that are environmentally friendly.
Equipping the Chromebook with 10 hours battery life, Acer also claims that they have used recycled plastic waste to make the glass-like touchpad. This Chromebook is priced at USD 299.99 in North America and EUR 399 in EMEA.
Acer Chromebook 314
This Chromebook is powered by various processors like Intel Celeron dual-core N4500/Pentium Silver N600/quad-core N5100. Similarly, the processor can be paired with eMMC 128 storage and 8 GB RAM.
Moreover, Chromebook 314 packs a 14-inch full HD anti-glare display, runs on Chrome OS and comes with similar features like Chromebook 315. The Chromebook 314 will be available at USD 299.99 and EUR 369 in North America and EMEA.
