Garmin launches new navigators, headsets, and backup cameras

Garmin has again come under the spotlight with three new announcements. First, there is the new dēzl OTR trucking navigator series, engineered to simplify a trucker’s on-the-road lifestyle.

Then there is a series of wireless backup cameras for drivers to see the rear view while reversing and lastly, the new dēzl Headsets, again designed keeping the trucker’s life in mind. Garmin has a solution for anything the road tosses at you. When your livelihood is trucking, you need the long-haul peace of mind that Garmin technology provides.

New dēzl OTR trucking navigator series

Make your time on the road more comfortable with the new dēzl OTR 610/710/810/1010 trucking navigators designed to help professional truckers simplify their over-the-road lifestyle. The newest navigators include larger, higher-resolution touchscreens spanning 6, 7, 8, and a powerful 10-inch model.

The newly refreshed navigators have come with a feature that allows drivers to view aerial imagery in high resolution with automatic Birdseye Satellite Imagery.

Furthermore, the larger navigators, with screens 8 inches and bigger, pack a split view map that exhibits weather conditions and routing details. Such models also feature the option to mount the device in any mode according to suitability.

Truck drivers can use unique truck routing based on their rig’s size and weight to drive with a heightened awareness of the route ahead, including notifications for forthcoming bridge heights, weight limitations, sharp turns, steep hills, and more.
