Whatever your favorite sport, outdoor activity, hobby, or career, Garmin appears to have a device that fits your needs. The D2 Air X10, the brand’s newest wearable, is designed for pilots and has functions that can be beneficial when your hands are engaged lugging gear or holding the controls.
Garmin has presented an improved version of the D2 Air pilot smartwatch, the D2 Air X10, which includes voice assistant control and phone calls via the watch. The X10 is priced at $549.99.
The original D2 Air, which retailed for $499, included several of the features featured in the more costly D2 series, such as the pulse oximeter and a high-resolution AMOLED display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 touchscreen.
In comparison to the D2 Air, the D2 Air X10 adds mobile call capabilities from the wrist via a linked smartphone, the ease of accessing and controlling your speech assistant through your watch. The D2 Air X10 boasts the same great OLED display with a fluid touchscreen and button interface for outstanding vision in varied lighting conditions.
Smart features for life on the go

Beyond the cockpit, the Garmin D2 Air X10 has multiple similarities with the Garmin Venu 2 & Venu 2+. The brilliant AMOLED touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass is the most apparent resemblance, but the three also share many of the same wearable and sports tracking functions.
Same as Venu 2 Plus, the new watch features an inherent microphone that lets you send & get calls within the Bluetooth area by managing your phone’s voice assistant. An optical heart rate monitor & SpO2 sensor that tracks breathing exercises, stress relievers, sleep functionality, and Garmin’s Body Battery feature displays the amount of energy spent every day.
Over 25 different sports and activities to choose from, including jogging, walking, golf, hiking, and more. Offline audio services, Garmin Pay, smartphone alerts are all enabled with the device.
You can also use the Health Snapshot tool to get a fast summary of your health status, which takes a two-minute measurement of your heart rate, heart rate variance, pulse oximetry, stress, and breathing. You can then save this information or share it with someone for future use.
Because this is an aviation timepiece, the D2 Air X10 comes with a preloaded global database of airports and waypoints to aid navigation. There is a horizontal position monitor with a barometric altimeter & many aviation notifications like distance, elevation, time & fuel indicators.
The watch will track your flight, and the date, length, total flying time, and route will be transferred to the flyGarmin.com record. The Garmin Pilot app may also be used to transfer flight plans.
METARs and TAFs, which provide wind, visibility, and other weather-related information, are also available. While pilots have huge monitor devices with this data, the D2 Air X10 can act as a backup or supplement.
It can save up to 650 songs in storage or stream music from Deezer, Spotify, and Amazon Music. With a 43mm watch body, stainless steel bezel, and 20mm quick-release band, the Garmin D2 Air X10 comes in black or ivory. When used with GPS & pulse oximeter readings, the battery life is estimated for up to 20 hours & up to seven days as a smartwatch.
