The new G1 series brings both form and function into the dive lineup offered by Garmin. This smartwatch can work perfectly under and above the water as it is water rated to 10ATM(100 meters) and it is also tested to EN133319 engineering standard for dive compliance. To make the watch more rugged, it comes with leakproof inductive buttons and a sapphire lens.

The dive modes include air, nitrox, trimix, and 100% O2. Then there is also a 3-axis digital compass. The watch also sends vibration depth alerts. With Descent G1, users can access depth, dive time, temperature, NDL/TTS, ascent/descent rates, gas mix, PO2, N2 loading, decompression/safety stop information, and time. All of these features can be customized according to the needs of the user. The Garmin Dive app allows users to get analytics related to their dives so that they can easily compare them later.
