Canon Launches Four New Printers to Expand their Business Inkjet and Laser Printer Portfolio

Canon is a prominent name in the printers market, and they make some of the best office and home printers. Now that many people work from home, the printing needs have grown for homes and small offices. So to fulfill those needs, Canon is now launching four new printers.

There are two new inkjet printer models and two new laser printers. The aim is to provide efficient and affordable printing solutions to both home and office users. So there are two new printers in the MAXIFY GX series and two printers in the imageCLASS printers.

Expanding the MAXIFY GX and imageCLASS Series

New Printers in MAXIFY GX Lineup

So let’s talk about the popular MAXIFY GX series, which is Canon’s MegaTank Printer lineup. It has two new printer models:

  • The 4-in-1 MAXIFY GX4020 printer (print, copy, scan, and fax)
  • The 3-in-1 MAXIFY GX3020 printer (print, copy, and scan)

As these are inkjet printers, they use a continuous ink supply system. By using high-volume ink bottles, users can significantly bring down the cost of printing.

Let’s talk about the new printers in the MAXIFY GX series first. So the new models are MAXIFY GX4020 and GX3020. These are inkjet printers, so they are most suitable for users with frequent printing needs. For instance, users with small offices or small business owners can utilize these printers greatly.

Both of the printers have excellent printing speed. Around 18 images per minute (IPM) in black-and-white and 13 (IPM) in color, which is quite efficient. There is a 250-sheet front-loading cassette on both printers accompanied by a 100-sheet rear tray.

So both printers have multiple paper paths. They even have a rear flat tray that can house thicker paper. So if you want to create posters, these printers can do it efficiently.

Emphasizing the poster topic, these printers also have compatibility with Canon’s PosterArtist Online design software. This software can help users to create tons of posters and banners. So business owners can create their own latest flyers for ads. The best thing is that these printers come with a three-year limited warranty.

New Printers in the imageCLASS Lineup

The imageCLASS printers are part of the black-and-white laser printer series from Canon. This series also has two new printers:

  • The imageCLASS MF264dw II 3-in-1 multifunction printer (print, copy, and scan)
  • The imageCLASS MF262dw II 3-in-1 multifunction printer (print, copy, and scan)

The laser printers are great for users that have to manage documents and print a lot of them on a daily basis. For them, Canon has two new printers in the imageCLASS series: the MF264dw II and MF262dw II. Both of them are 3-in-1 multifunction printers.

The remarkable feature of both printers is that they can print the first page in just 6 seconds or less. Expanding on the printing speed, they can both print 30 pages per minute. They both have a high page yield. Canon is claiming 1700 pages per cartridge. That is pretty great for most users.

To make the printing experience better, Canon has added adjustable screens to both of them, so you can use them nicely while sitting or standing. So if you print a ton of documents daily, you can check out this new range from Canon.
